This support is an elegant example of a Bela tent storage post. It was used to keep belongings off the ground, such as large rolled items, woven cane panels that serve as windbreaks, and large animal skin bags. The original stem used to pound the support into the ground has completely eroded away from use. Formed from a single piece of wood with venerable losses from age and use. Presented on an inlaid brass custom stand.

Shipping quoted separately.
