The graphic, traditional designs symbolize features of the landscape. The shapes, use of negative space and the color schemes combine to create bold, modern feeling and interesting objects.
This type of envelope shaped hide container was used to hold everyday items and food. They were made in pairs and mounted as saddle bags.
Condition consistent with age and use. Please note the small tear in the rear corner of the middle example.
